Created in the spring of 2006, our program was born from the belief that communication and marketing are powerful disciplines that are greatly needed to address the world's most pressing public health challenges. We share that belief with many of the world's most important public health institutions - including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Institute of Medicine, the World Health Organization, the Pan American Health Organization, and the Associations of Schools of Public Health. Our program focuses in equal measures on teaching, research, and service to the community.
Our Degree Programs
We offer two degree programs in Public Health Communication and Marketing: a 45-credit Master of Public Health (MPH) that generally takes about two years to finish, and an 18-credit Graduate Certificate, which can either be completed on its own or combined with an MPH in a different program or department.
