Application Deadlines
GW reviews applications on a rolling basis, sending admissions decisions about five weeks after receiving a complete application. While we recommend that you apply as early as possible, let the deadlines below guide you as you prepare your materials.
Master's Programs
October 1 Final Spring Deadline
February 15 Final Summer Deadline
Final International Applicant Deadline
Fall Priority Scholarship Deadline
April 15 Final Fall Deadline
To be considered for scholarships, eligible applicants to graduate programs must complete their application, including all supporting documents, by the Fall Priority Deadline. Fall scholarship awards will be announced in early March. There is no priority deadline for Spring awards.
Doctoral Programs
January 15 Final DrPH Deadline
The Doctor of Public Health program admits students to the Fall Semester of even years only. Our next entering class will begin in August 2012.
The PhD programs in Epidemiology and Biostatistics admit students each Fall. Prospective students apply through the Apply Yourself system by December 1.
Certificate Programs
Certificate programs have the same application deadlines as Master's Degree programs.
The Graduate Certificate in Health Information Technology, an executive online program, has an extended deadline of:
