SPHHS Student Handbook

The SPHHS Student Handbook is for the undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS). The Handbook describes the policies, procedures, and resources that are most important for SPHHS students. However, the University's Bulletin serve as a more complete source of information. If you are an undergraduate student, you should use this Handbook in tandem with the University's Undergraduate Bulletin. Graduate students should use it along with the University's Graduate Bulletin. Both Bulletins are available in print and on the web.

The SPHHS Student Handbook is available in two formats - printed and online. Click here for the Student Handbook, which is excerpted from selected portions of the printed Handbook. The online version includes:

  • The Academic Calendar
  • The Office of Student Affairs
  • Your New Student "To-Do" List
  • Human Research Training Requirement
  • Professional Enhancement Requirement
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Student Life, and Other Helpful Resources
  • Graduation and Beyond

For information from elsewhere in the Handbook, see About the School, Admissions, Academic Programs, and Courses and Registration.

The University reserves the right to change courses, programs, and fees, or to make other changes deemed necessary or desirable, giving advance notice of these changes when possible.
