Students Receive Undergraduate Public Health Riegelman Summer Award

Holly Crowe:
Holly Crowe is a rising 4th year BS/MPH student in the Maternal and Child Health track. This summer, she will be interning with the nonprofit Cheerful Hearts Foundation in Kasoa, Ghana where she will be assisting and learning from midwives at a local government hospital. Her duties will include promoting pre and post natal care, assisting with deliveries, and measuring birth weights. She is excited to gain real world experience in the field to apply to her studies and combine her clinical and public health interests. She also looks forward to learning about and immersing herself in a new culture.
